The Race for Earth circuit will cover a length of 483 km with an elevation gain of more than 7000 meters to be completed in 35 hours. This is going to be one of the toughest circuits in India with numerous hairpin bends, corner bends, and salient curves on the hilly terrain of Northeast India. The race will commence from Guwahati city in the State of Assam and will pass through the districts of Ri Bhoi, East Khasi Hills, West Khasi Hills, East Garo Hills, and North Garo Hills in the State of Meghalaya. The final leg of the circuit will be in the plains of Assam passing through Goalpara and Kamrup districts and will end right outside of Guwahati city.

Race for Earth is an ultracycling endurance race conceptualized by Lone Tree Consultants Pvt Ltd to promote sports ecotourism in Northeast India. Originally planned for launch on April 22, 2023, coinciding with Earth Day, the event faced operational challenges and could not commence as scheduled. However, Lone Tree remains committed to bringing this vision to life and is now gearing up for the inaugural edition of Race for Earth in 2026.

With a mission to establish Race for Earth as an annual flagship event in Northeast India, the race will offer athletes and stakeholders a unique opportunity to be part of the region’s largest endurance cycling event.
